WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AGE FOR THIS EXPERIENCE?
Our unicorn/pony experience suits the 2-10 year old age group. Please note that we have a weight limit of 35 kilos per child for the riding experience. However, older children can still participate in all other activities - photos, pampering and leading.
HOW LONG DOES THEY PARTY GO FOR?
We have a 1 hour & 1.5 hour package's available. Packages can go for longer please contact for a quote.
SAFETY
We provide certified safety helmets & have experienced equine handlers at all times. However animals can be unpredictable at times, and as such all riders ride at your own risk.
WHATS INVOLVED IN THE PARTY?
Our staff teach children how to be safe & how to care for ponies, then a opportunity for photos to be taken by parents, followed by pats, pampers & pony rides .
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes. We require a $100.00 non refundable deposit within 48hrs to secure your booking. We will confirm your party details via phone or email, then issue you an invoice, balance due seven days prior to your booking.
Note: If you select the professional entertainment package we require a $200 non refundable deposit.
WHAT SIZE AREA DO I NEED FOR THE UNICORN EXPERIENCE?
The unicorn experience requires a minimum of a 4 x 4 meter area. We can attend in public parks dependent on council permit requirements.
IS THE UNICORN/PONY JUST FOR PARTIES?
ARE STAFF FIRST AID QUALIFIED?
No. Our unicorns can be used events, weddings, kindergarten visits, visiting the elderly & photoshoots. We can make any event special!
Yes our staff are advanced first aid trained.
WHEN IS IT NOT SAFE FOR THE PONY TO COME
Windy days with strong gust, we will contact you if we are concerned about the wind. HOT days of 32c plus, if a hot day is forecast we can to arrange to come a little earlier or later in the day. Rain is ok, if a thunderstorm with lighting is around we will stop work until it has passed.
DO STAFF HAVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECKS?
Yes all our staff are have working with children checks.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes Melbourne Unicorn & Pony Hire is fully insured.
